BF2 Verifying Client Data

Ok, heres a strange one. When I load into a server, my actual loading bar zips along. 10 seconds at most. And then when it says, "Finish Loading, Verifying Client Data" this always takes like 30-60+ seconds to do. Is this normal for everyone? Im on a pretty high-end computer, so im suprised it takes so long. It even took that long with single player, so im assuming it wasn't from playing 64 player maps and such. Anyway, its not like its a big deal im just wondering if its just me.

Yes, it is a very common thing and personally it sucks. My loading takes about 45 seconds and that client data takes me a good 60-90 seconds. Sometimes it takes a lot longer to load. I've clocked it at a max of 4 minutes but I am running the game on near minimum reqs.
