If its not too much trouble admins can we flip the custom server over to de_tides for a day or two to get used to the map. Kind of like what you did with prodigy?

I have to answer saberhagen. Although I agree with you on many things losing havana isnt one of them. I would lose chataeu or dust long before havana. Who knows de_tides may suck anyhow. Turtle Rock said there map maker was new.

Makes no difference now Valve just fixed Dust with the update. And tides looks Flippin Sweet.

We will be hosting a de_tides 24/7 server once we get everything updated. This server is temporary and is in addition to the Custom Maps Server.

I think Dust/Chateau whoop the crap out of Havana.. but I'm not sure if Tides is really up to par. I don't like how quickly each team meets each other, screws with my normal play.
Sure it looks phenomenal, but the gameplay is lacking IMO.

Filthy I agree, you leave your spawn and bam there is the other team, it just feels like a smaller outdoor office to me to bad it wasnt a lil more open and a lil larger.

Salem and I played on a good tides server tonight. Adam way to check your pm's :P. Anyhow we were playing CT's and T's were on us like whip snap crackle pop. We let this unchecked frenzy go on for about 2 minutes before Bryan and I were buying shotguns and nades and defending the backdoor ( just the two of us). Haha I finished pretty much even 30-30 and Bryan topped the list. Exploit us for a couple of rounds BUT DONT KEEP DOING IT FOR 15-20 ROUNDS ( jackasses).

WE ARE WAR AS HELL GAMERS. Fool us like 3 times, the rest THEY PAID.

soooo how many of you like runing around for 2 mins looking for one guy who then shoots you in the back (stabs in my case) de_tides is a small close quter fire fight meaning get guns get redy and start shoting i like it so many ways to snek around it a nice fast paced map and has a fuw good places to camp

as for maps to remove .. Dust Dust2 why people like thes maps is beond me :crazy:
