So I got a promotion at work today. I'll be doing quite a bit of traveling in the near future which will be good and bad. But my company gave me a brand new laptop-nothing to exciting of course some Dell (great now I have 2 dells, as if one wasn't enough :jerkit:

I think it's a Dell Lattitude D610 with something crappy like a 1.6 gig intel processor and 504 mb of RAM. Now my question is what can I do with it? Obviously i would love to be able to get my bf2 and cs fix while I"m on the road but I don't think that's really possible. But I'm willing to give it a try and wouldnt' mind spending a little bit of money if it could make me run these games decently. Maybe another stick of ram or something. Anyone think this is even possible? Or should I just get used to playing games like mindsweeper. :yuck: :?

you need a hell of a vidoe card to run BF2. But maybe you have a small chance of running CSS from that thing. You will probobly need new video card for eather of them so that is what I would do first.

I am at the same stage, well I dont travel, but I want to beef up my Dell Laptop, I found Ebay to be a great stop, I would definitely up the video card, and up the memory, not sure what it can handle though.

No way to upgrade video in that notebook. This model can not be upgraded. The video chip is soldered directly to the motherboard
