Today I was surfing vintage BMX videos and I found it!!

If you watch the left side of the screen close at 2:10 2:12 you will see this event as it happened....unfortunately, the mother filming this was not MY mother and was focused on someone else instead of the great battle for third place.

What a bad ass find this was!! One in a million for circa 1979 home video.

Another pilot and I are shown winning the race between 1:26 and 1:47 also.

Damn nice push on the burm to dump the other riders, wow memories, I was part of the Texas Team Racers for 2 seasons. didnt make the circuit but some of the better team mates did. Nice find AB:woot:

the quality is great for old film and the racing is strictly awesome. that style of BMX is way cooler than the 30 year old guy riding the tiniest bike he can down the street back home.

It was the most rad thing ever....they still race them but only on boring flat tracks best I can tell.

I raced BMX for a while on a two wheel bike. The track we had in my town had a table top, berms, rythyms, and a step-up towards the end. The vintage stuff is pretty cool though. I had no idea they raced 3 wheel bikes like that back in the day.
