need help installing itunes

i have windows xp 64 bit , which is ablsolutely not suported by apple itunes!! can't install any version (32 and 64 vista)
i have tried alot of stuff i found on the internet ...didn't work....
called apple support ...got the answere: "sometimes it works when you are lucky" :rofl:
i guess what he means is i could tell you where to find a solution but aren't allowed to do so!!
i am getting frustrated watching my iphone without being able to set it up.... :wallbash:
i am not far away from building another pc and set it up with win xp 32 bit (all i would need is a case for it)
btw plz no "buy vista" comments

I had the same problem, I had to uninstall, delete all registry entries and then run some program.....I will see if I can find it.

thx for your help , unfortunately i have tried that 10 times before and i can't install the apple mobile device support ,i get the message: "the installer encountered errors before apple mobile device support could be configured"

i also need to mention when i conected my iphone the first time i also got a lot of errors from the windows installer. if i go to the device manager my iphone shows up, but only the camera drivers are installed

ok, let me look up the program I used. I had to wipe everything related to apple out of my computer. I physically deleted folders and registry items. After that and a clean install of both itunes and quicktime it worked/works fine.

i did everything you told me, tried to reinstall and.... same freaking errors omg!!
got it set up at the pc of my EX!! i am going to build a second pc pretty quick ...(before i get too drunk)
