Teamspeak Help

So I've had Teamspeak now for about a week but I haven't used it yet because I need some questions answered first. First off when I enter a channel or whatever it is, is the mic on all the time? And if so if I bind a key to mute will it stay muted until I press that key again? I think thats the only question that I need answered if not I'll post again later. Sorry if this has been discussed earlier but I did a search and nothing came up. Thanks.

Open up TS

Click Settings, Sound Input/Output settings, put a dot next to "Push to Talk", and click set to set you key, and press the key you want to use.
