I guess I'm a Type 2, Car Audio Thug... minus the gay Honda(sub in the Camaro or the Motorcycle), no tattoos, and no lame facial hair... and I've been guilty of hooking up with Type 3.

Other than that, the descriptions are pretty accurate.

unfortunatly i have never had the honour of working in retail electronics store, i tend to be rather "hardcore" added to the fact years of working in professional audio and video makes me quite jaded I have frequent heated discussions with my bosses boss about such things, he is of the beleif that you need to spend uber-cash on audio for the best fidelity then i say go professional he says it is not the same quality and i beg to differ.. like duhh what was it recorded on.... then again, he has never seen what we did in the studio or live... we certainly did not use $5000 dollar cables, heh sometimes we were lucky to use cables.... anyway...

i used to frequent microcenter round here and always had to walk away when i heard the computer sales dweeb try to sell something, mainly because i would be rather rude if i opened my mouth....
