You can do crazy shit with every concievable item, person, or thing from hl2 and cs. Its a lot of fun, plain and simple.

You can spawn zombies, bugs, make crap, mod vehicles, make vehicles, play with player models, etc.

One day I might take you all on a spin in my couch car or my flying dumpster... :rockon:

Hehe sounds pretty cool. I dl it last night and after about fifteen minutes of nothing happened, I turned it off. Guess I'll try again later 2night. :dunno:

Its best if you can get into a game where people can get you started seeing that there is no instructions really. The best thing I can say is hold down Q and use the menu, you'll figure somethings out on your own but it is not user friendly to start out alone. Try the other games channel in WiH TS every once in a while, thats where we go when playing.

Yea I had no previous experience with gary's mod and it took a little while to even figure out wtf I was doing, but if you mess around with it for a little you can get the hang of it. Yea we should try doing it together and make some interesting things, rune's barrel/bathtub car wass pretty good. :D

Played it last night for a bit. It's pretty weird and wasn't quite sure what the purpose of it was so as soon as I spawned I would just start unloading on people, but I guess they didnt like that 2 much seeing as I kept getting kicked. :hehehe: But once i learned not to kill people it was pretty cool.

me and some of the guys from <TI> made a zombie attack(which was kinda cool)

rocketpowered loop buggy

an actual working rocket ship(i was "flying" it, pills couldn't stop laughing)

Rune found an awesome Mod for Garry's today. I'll have to tell him to post it. It has more vehicles you can spawna nd drive and a premade cannon and some other stuff that is more than halarious. Fans of Garrys have got to check it out.

Actually, I just deleted that one and reverted back to 8.3a and got "Ultimate Garry's Mod" it has that same stuff me, you, demon, pills, and nsane has.. except this mod has 10x as much stuff for more builiding power.

And... I just did about 20 trial and erros, went back to 8.3b, and am running GmPP again. Good mod. Link? I dunno, find it.

Thruster driven. This was made before the pods mod so I couldnt ride it.

I've seen that before...Does it reflect well? Looks cool from those pics that's for sure. Not something that would be street legal :yaya:

I love going in random servers and seeing what people build. I enjoy that more than making the stuff myself.

I usually just play around with ragdolls and balloons.

Isn't there a way to isolate them so you can use the num keys to activate different groups though? I swear I was playing around with that one day.

Yea u use numbe rpad....u hit a number u want to use..put thristers....hit nxt number put thrusters..etc..works great when stearing a car :)

You get DRIVEABLE CARS, Cool bomb, like a mk-82, a torpedo, and an anraam, and some small bomb. Also get a pre-built cannon, all sorts of great stuff. So, check it out.

I've been trying to find a good guide on how to play this mod and can't seem to find one. I know you're supposed to press Q to bring up the menu, but that's about it. I see people spawn zombies and build all kinds of things that I don't see in the menu under Q. Any help would be appreciated, cuz Im such a noob. :wallbash:

Experiment. Make your own game and just click everything/ Thats the fastest way to do it. Thats how I did it.

The old AI system was hard.

ok i was in a bad mood so i decided to cool down with some garrys mod so it took me an hour and a half but i think the outcome wasnt too bad... heres my failed attempt at a bass (was gonna make a guitar but no room for 6 strings so just did 4). theres also an amp, and some funky giant woman. theyre all giants btw. lol

i kinda fixed it so i can actually click now, but it sometimes when im holding it lets go and reclicks, which can be quite annoying. also the actual left click button slides around.

why would your compy die?

K, just incase you dun know how to load it right click steam click on "play games" and click "garry's mod". And, basically if you want the most fun you can get, play with people you know. That said, enjoy :)

I'm really bored, and have a project for garry's mod. It's basically just going to be a house. I'm going to post updates in this little section here, so far I have the out line of the house, and the future plans.

First step was to outline the house to get the shape, so next I will worry about putting up the support braces (Which is going to be the hardest and longest part)

Update #2 will come within the next few days.

The house is comming along nicely with a fully functional door. And as you can see the support braces are all up. Next stop: Room layout w/ support braces, then to the roof.

Yea, the roof idea was supposed to be next but I decided not to just yet, as I needed to add the rooms. I still need to add the braces and doors for the bathroom. I even changed the design in the house a little to accomodate only one person, since it's just me.

Also, there is so much junk that whenever I touch a piece of wood to a piece of wood my FPS drops to 6.
