valve is doing everything(still, but that's not an improvement), just using EA's production lines.

And it's EA's production lines that push the makers to meet deadlines, whether the game is ready or not.

It won't be the end of the world, but I doub't valve and EA will garner much sales with the label "WMD" on the box.

Did you guys read? It says EA PUBLISHES the game, not PRODUCE. That means it will still be the good ol' Valve softwares, but produced by EA. The only quality difference you may see will be in the quality of the box or the CD/CD case.

No.... EA is filled with asshats that will force the game out after 6 months (which we all know "good" ol' Valve takes a million years) and the game will be crap because Valve sucks and can't do anything right.

I think it is dumb of Valve... but it will make it easier for me to skip any of Valves future games.

I think it is dumb of Valve... but it will make it easier for me to skip any of Valves future games.look at CS:S, they had over what...... 8 years to replace and remake the game and what do we get, a freaking PORT of cs1.6 to the source engine. even with all that time Valve still screwed up.

and sofar, valve is still winning when it comes to amount of patches released without actually solving the problems.
