Verifying Client Data

For some reason or another, since I installed V1.02 it take me at least 1.5 -2 minutes to get though the 'verifying Client Data' screen when loading up a new map. Any thoughts why?

This used to take me that long. When I used to join a server, or go through changing maps, I'd get up and make some food real quick or visit the little soldier's room. I'd get back and it usually would not be done. With 1.2 however, it seems pretty quick.
