MX 1000 Laser Mouse

and Possibly Logitech 500 Series.

I just found that i can reprogram the additional buttons on the MX 1000 to do in game commands. However they have to be programmed out side the game with the logitech software.

I have the 3 thumb buttons of the MX 1000 programed for weapon 3, weapon 2 and weapon 4. ( i play AT alot so weapon 4 is either AT missile or grenades for other classes.) however it saves me (with my keyboard layout) from reaching across the board to press the keys 3 2 or 4. before i was using the scroll menu wihich sucks when u need a weapon (pistol) fast.. now it just a mouse click away. Just wanted to give any one using this mouse an fyi..

I use the mx518 myself. I'd like to know if there's some way to bind the mwheel up and mwheel down to select weapons.

i have the 518 and 510
i took out the logitech sofeware
go to mouse properties i belive and or game options
i have it done to mine

I have had 2 thumb buttons for about 3 years now, I always had top thumb button as "insert" and use "insert" to queue up TS. Now I programmed the bottom thumb (formally double click) to "B"
