There were just too many great pictures here to comment on or really look thoroughly at.

I'd call a few of those mansions instead of castles...

But these are bad azz... and real castles.

Now hiring masons. Must not be afraid of cliffs....

i remember back in the uk my folks used to work on festivals and stuff (lighting etc) we used to frequently do a festival at arundel castle, which is in the south east of england, must admit it was pretty cool working in an actual castle, the duke dude who presided over it (cannot technically say owned because i believe it is a national trust owned building now) was pretty cool too...

solidly built back then, i wonder how many building will be around in 400 or 600 years time from today?? (or 2000+ if you include pyramids and stuff)

right near my home town of woking, there is a nother village place called Send, it has a 14th monestary remains there, visted one by king henry (III??)i think... it is ruins now but still 600 years old...

many of the churches i used to goto were a minimum of 300 years old... and cold and draughty and nasty and boring....

old stuff is crap..... REALLY old stuff is cool :D
