Well how do ya?

This came about because of the change over to digital only OTA (Over the Air) broadcasts.

I forgot to mention it is multiple choice, if you use two or more ways to connect.

(I use both Dish and OTA..... it is not possible for me to get my locals in HD over Dish yet)

Other: DVDs mostly. I don't even have cable, digital, OTA or whatever. If I hear about a great TV show, I'll check it out on Hulu or DVD. 99% of TV is just a waste of my time anyway...

Doh! As my vote was being processed, i scrolled down and saw multiple choice. Cable + internet. Internet being mainly nbc.com for missed conan or SNL, www.colbertnation.com, and www.thedailyshow.com and the occasional copyright-infringing youtube video. DVD for shows on networks like HBO, i.g. Curb Your Enthusiasm.

One miss leading thing about this is that even if your TV will get the Digital signal you may not be able to receive it. Those of us at the edge of the service area will also need a new antenna and a taller pole to put it on or we will not be able to watch much of nothing reliably. 45 miles seems to be the magic number according to the Digital TV Gurus.:spank:again......

cable and internets. since i do not always get to see the shows, and the DVR has a ridiculously small HD in it, so i see them later..

we chose cable coz Dtv sucked ar$e in rainy conditions even with the new digital fangled hi-def dish thingy-whatsit, and since we live close to O'hare , the planes often disrupted the signal too, besides internets are faster with cable the ATT which is what we had... shame the PQ is lower on cable GRRRR!

The main show I watch on cable in Rachel Ray.

Sucks tho.

holy hell.. rachel ray gets you hot and bothered?

you need to get out more.

now the girl from mythbusters... take it to a ... whole .... nutha ..... level.

I have directv and mostly like it... I find the HD content much more tolerable than cable.. all networks compress the data, so when you have dark areas you can see blocks. Directv has less of that crap if you ask me, and I am still quite excited to see that it works just fine through Seattle's famous overcast skies, torrential rain, and heavy snowstorms.

All my stuff is bundled through Qwest. Home phone, unlimited long distance, cell phone, internet, and DirecTV in HD.

I use the channel specific sites for things more recent. If they pull full episodes down before I get to them, I have used www.surfthechannel.com to get the episodes. Other than that, its all netflix instant watch.

Usually I don't fix my tv when it's broken. I just go out and buy a new one. haha! :flipoff:

sad thing services or websites like hulu, actually even websites like nbc, abc, cbs they dont let you watch any series or videos if you dont live in USA. also pandora has the same policy!
