Im honestly just woundering why it is banned. It is a M game and it is sufficently violent. anyone who is either to young or is offended should not be playing it anyway. :wallbash:

I think it is insane to have a server that hosts a game that violent and get offended at a little swearing. Im 18, and little kids should not be playing these games to begin with. You honestly think that a parent that is that irresponsible is going to draw the line when it comes to cussing?

Well its a clean server. Thats all there is to it. It's supposed to be age friendly. If people cant show a little restraint in life by not taking that ten seconds out of their life to punch in each letter for the swear they are typing out..Lol. Then I dont know what to say about those people.

Because people spouting foul language lowers the server. Who cares if there are people shooting eachother and blood, it doesn't piss people off. The thing that drives players away and upsets others is when someone comes into a server running their mouth at other players trying to bring them down to make themselves feel better or just to be jerks. Honestly why would you need to cuss in the first place? No good comes of it. If your frustrated then go ahead and curse if you want, but do it aloud and to yourself.

Or say "Oh sugar!" or "Fudge!" Like my nana! Thats old school style age appropiate swearing for you. But you're not allowed to direct it towards people like "Fudge you!" Or "you fudging sugar!" that would be an inappropiate use of the substitutions.

If your 18, then you can probably say it out loud...why take the time to type it, when a simple verbal yell will suffice. While I see what you are saying jaross, about it being a rated M game, I have been on other servers where cussing just gets out of control and lowers the quality of the game. Its really not that bad to give one small thing up to be a part of the best gaming community around at wih :thumbsup:

The Bottom line is simple the server rules state no foul language that means do not type it, do not say it over the comm, do not intentionally type spaces or other characters in an attempt to bypass the language filter if anyone cannot live with this policy, tough! move to another server. it is not hard to follow this rule.

And if you want to curse come onto teamspeak we yell at each other all the time, you can swear there if you want its not that big of a deal, unless you drop an f-bomb every other word like Grail does. :flipoff:

Most people come online to play games, not listen or read other people's cussing. We understand and know that sometimes it is frustrating and you need to let it out. The swear word filter on the server is there for you to be able to type in your swear word and let out your frustration. Once you feel the need to bypass this filter is when our admins step in.

Believe it or not, we do police the TS channels. We let a lot fly on TS but if it's getting excessive, we will give you the boot on there too.

I now hold back what I say and just say it to myself without holding down the button, unless i'm joking with someone.

I think thats the point, Jaross. It is just a "game" Just because it is violent doesn't mean anything else goes. People like to play "games" maturely sometimes. Maybe just try not cussing. I know I really try, sometimes the accidental F word slips out and whatnot. I realize my mistake and I don't complain when I get kicked or temp banned for it. Trust me, the admins will be able to tell the difference between slipups and disrespect of their authority and will make their judgement based on that. Everyone makes mistakes, just try not to make them on purpose.

I play here too avoid the little kids running around on other servers that think dropping the f bomb makes them badass for some reason. It just gets on my nerves sometimes as little as 20 seconds in to listen to them. Work on the vocabulary just a bit kids, you sound socially retarded when you curse every four words.....
