I would like to have a get together with as many of the west coast members as possible i am about 100 miles south east of San Francisco in Newman CA (Get your Atlas out, and find Interstate 5 east of San Fran follow it south to newman) i would be willing to do the BBQ at my house could probably convince the wife to make some Philipino dishes as well anyone interested sign up here.

Only Those that are serious about doing this post here. everyone else go hijack a different thread

well since no date has been discussed yet we will see but keep in mind where i live in california it is not 70 degrees in the winter i am in northern cali, it does get down into the 50's and 40's regularly.

anyone wanting to stay at my house would be welcome to at least if there is room. spouses are also welcome but they would probably just be bored, the only child living with me is my 4 year old son. so no luck on the daughter ya perv, she lives in st louis with her mother

i like bbq, but the real question is if you would be willing to bbq vegetarian food :) like corn, or vegetable shiscabob (how do you spell that?), or soy burgers, or soy hot dogs. the drive is a bit far for me, but if it is the right day, i would probably make it.

ill totally put this food together just as long as there is room on the bbq for it... other people interested let me know if want some.

I will officially note september 17th and 18th as the weekend for the first annual west coast gathering of the WiH community all those planning to attend please pm me for directions, anyone wishing to stay at my house please make sure you get those requests in early so i can determine space requirements, there is a small motel in town that i can get contact info for as well. about 12 miles away is a fairly new best western.

Thought we were staying at your place :yaya: anyway, I have a weeding to go to that weekend, so have fun...

Edit: weeding... haha, I am a moron, I meant wedding, but weeding looks better :crazy:

pretty much yes, i will say he is the only one that showed up with food, res did bring a 6 pack on heineken though.
