Everyone knows that October was [/URL]Cancer Awareness Month. More specifically, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pink is everywhere, and there are a handful of events every weekend to raise awareness and funds.
What does this have to do with November? Well, November is all about the gentlemen. And as gentlemen, “women first” is a motto that was followed even on occasions such as Cancer Awareness Months. So, after the ladies have had their month, November is the month to be aware of men’s health risks… especially those of cancerous nature. Now, the focus of October is on Breast Cancer. Since it probably wouldn’t fly to have anything that resembles a teat on flyers, posters and t-shirts, they go with the pink ribbons. Likewise, it would be incredibly unsightly to have prostates pictured everywhere, so our ribbons will be brown. And made out of hair. And it will go above our lips.
Thats right gents. Grow a MOustache to raise awareness of prostate cancer! Starting Movember 1st, shave that face clean and lets see your womb brooms waving proud!
