yeah I used to listen to some of these as recordings on my dads old reel to reel. Pretty cool stuff.

Even though its not old (well its from the 70s) its of the same type, Firesign Theatre, to bad they dont have none of that. But I know why they still own the rights so you wont see their stuff on there anyway. But its some funny stuff. All the drugs references and political satire is very funny IMO. But I digress.

I noticed they didnt have war of the worlds broadcast which sux :( My dad used to have a copy of that broadcast on tape but it wasnt comepleted. Its such a creative radio drama that I've always wanted to get it.

For those that dont know, the way the broadcasted the war of the worlds (for even lower based lifeforms its the first story about Aliens attacking earth by a Atheist Author named H.G. Welles) it made it seem like it was really happening in a way, except it would cut to commercial and things like that but for some reason people believed it anyway. It is rumored that some people commited suicide and in small rural areas riots broke out, because they all thought it was the end of the world. I dont know how much of that is true but I do know its a great story and I wish I could find it recorded somewhere. Oh well... I'll google it or something maybe I'll find it hmm...

Anyway yeah :jester:
