speaking about viruses, i actually dis that stupid fake antivirus the other day, i was clicking around in vista, and on some less then reputable websites, and this thing popped up, and the drugs must have been clouding my mind, coz everything seemed legit for about 5 seconds, then the real concious mind tripped in and said WAYHAYYYY!!!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?

so the next 45 mins was spent getting rid of the fecker, a real pain in the @$$ and of course the UAC on vista did exactly what it was supposed to, conditioned a none thinking mind into just clicking allow and yes all the time.... *L*

luckily no damage done, but embarrassing enough to admit to.

(obviously since my vista box did not have antivirus on it because until about 2 days ago i never surfed the web on it, just used it for movies, to the TV is the reason why i infected it.... now it is locked down like my daughter :D)

Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org/) is one of the best I've used, gets rid of Antivir64 and other tricky bastards...

Always good to review results, then delete them yourself and then let the program try and delete in case of failure to delete.
