View Full Version : Mic Problems
:dunno: I can't get this thing to work during game play. I test it in steam and all works well I can use team speak and it works. It just will not work using the ingame support (trying to play CS Source). Does anyone have any ideas that may help?
Thanks

it is enabled and properly bound in cs:s.....right?
It is enabled in steam, but I'm noit sure what you mean by bound.
To add a little more info when I talk even through teamspeak I do not see the speaker show up with my name by it like I see when others are talking.

If the green light isn't showing up in TS when you talk, then others on TS will not be able to hear you. I'm thinking you need to go into your sound options in control panel and verify that you're mic controls are not muted.
What I mean is while you are playing and people start talking on their mics it registers their name at the bottom right corner of the screen. I don't know if it should show my name when I talk, I just know that I don't seeit there. I am able to use team speak but I'm not sure others (outside of team speak) can hear me.

Well we've verified you're TS is working. Hopefully our conversation was productive and you'll be able to get that game speak working as well.
Thanks a ton Groovy Dude. It works great. I guess that it would help to read the directions first, but guys don't do that sort of thing. But now I do feel like a true moron :wallbash: , thanks again.
