Commander, Knife/Pistol & Medals

Hello :)
1. Does anyone know how the commanders scoring works????
How many points do you get for UAV, supplys, and artillery kills???

2. Do you guys have any useful pistol/knife tips?? what is the quickest way to kill your enemy with a knife without getting shot?

3. So far i only got, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Purple Heart medals. theres like 20 more, how can you get the rest of them :dunno:

1. I dont think there are any points for uav or supply but artilary kills just count as a kill.

2. yeah, Dont use it unless you are out of bullets. standing still trying to stab an enemy standing still and you probobly will just hit air.

3. You have to be really good.

You can get basic knife by killing 7 people with a knife. You can get an airborne ribbon by flying really high and parachuting all the way down. You can get the basic combat medals for each class by getting a certain number of kills, not sure exactly how many, assuming 7 since that's how many it was for the knife. You can get resupply and medic badges by giving people ammo and healing them, respectively. There's a lot more that I don't have yet.

Pretty sure commander gets points for every 2 or 3 artillary kills....may be wrong. But I do know when the team takes a flag you get points and for every 10 tickets the opposing team loses you get 1 point.

No i heard the way for you to earn your basic commander badge is to get 5 healing points from supply crates. This is probably why no one has the damn badge but I will test it out when I get home.

I have the badge. You have to get 40 commander points in one round.

yo as a commander you get 1 point for uav/support/saying enemy spotted

is there a time interval on the enemy spotted?

this guy was spamming enemies spotted as commander on wih the other day , and he sure wasn't making the points he should have on that if you get 1 point for every enemy spotted.

I would have to diasagree Kossori. Ive scored over 40 points as commander dozens of times, no badge. I really think it is something gay like healing points from supply crates. Other notes:

Air Defense Ribbon: 20 minutes in a stinger + 7 kills. Sounds easy doesnt it? It isnt. Stingers are so poorly placed on maps that it makes it damn near impossible. Also, Im not sure about this but Im pretty sure Tunguskas and Linebackers counts as armor not air defense. So I dont think you can get it from them. Not sure though.

Armored Combat Ribbon: Im still after this dumb ribbon. I think it is 20 minutes in a tank too + a certain amount of kills. The 20 minutes resets from round to round, so your lucky if the map even lasts 20 minutes, let alone trying to get the time in the vehicle.


The ribbon I really want is the Meritorious Unit Commendation. The requirements are 1.5 total hours as THE SAME SQUAD + at least 1 round with a total squad score over 200. Thats 6 guys with an average of 35 points per guy. Its doable, but its a challenge. If you would like to do this ribbon let me know. I wont do it in a Blackhawk though, something infantry or armor based or even dune buggy based. ( Dont tell me it cant be done dune buggy ( I scored 60 points soloing a dune buggy yesterday on Zatar Wetlands). This also means that the whole squad has to remain the same squad for 90 minutes, any change ups like lost connections or adding and removing people will reset the timer.

i got air defense ribbon using an AA vehicle. those lovely black hawks helped me there.

That's 40 points BEFORE the end of the match. The 2x bonus team average does not grant you the badge.

Also, as I recently understand it, you dont do anything to get points. Your points are entirely based on the teams average score.

Actually, you for air defense it's only time. My dad got that just by sitting in one for 20 minutes. He had 2 kills

Right, the badge is 20 minutes. Getting the ribbon though requires 20 minutes + 7 kills. They are two separate things.
