Bones, can you give me a reason why the SMGs are better for the AT kit then the DAO? I'm really curious on why you think that.

Well, I use the DAO and I find it to be a better weapon then the SMGs that is supplied to the kit. Sure, either way you needed to be in close quarters to use them, but I'd rather fire a few shots then fire two clips and not hit a damn thing.

You can shoot at long range with the SMG for almost no accuracy. Both guns are close combat weaponry. At least with an armored opponent, the DAO is a more valuable weapon, then the SMG. The DAO give you more bang for your buck.

If you're using the MP5 at range against anything other than a pistol/knife wielding opponent then you can go ahead and get ready to call the medic.

Half of the time I can usually kill an MP5 AT guy with a hand grenade while I jump around in the open waiting for it to go off.

That being said... The DAO is the superior close support weapon in my experiences on unlocked servers.

And regarding the MP5, your right it sux at medium to long range. It's barely usable at close range. That really sux to. It was a great wepon in POE or was it DCF.
