I liked atlantis, but not as much as SG-1. So i hope it feels more like SG-1.

It almost has a Firefly rip off feel too.

I feel like this is going to be a letdown. Feels like they are stretching it out TOO long. For me, Stargate really started to decline when Jack left the team. The whole show started to feel... strange.

ya I heard about this..I kind started liking Stargate Atlantis..but you are right doc..after Jack left..everything started failing for SG..

I wonder how they're going to work the use of the stargate into the show. I've grown to like Atlantis and look forward to it every Fri. But this does sound like a premise (desperate people far away from home travel thru the universe) that have already been used by BSG and ST: Voyager.
