just wondering? does getting a widescreen LCD TV to use as a moniter help?

Depends on the game I guess. It'd definitely help with spotting people a long way off in BF.

You would be able to cover more firing angles in cs:s. I saw a picture of a guy who had a 3 monitor set up and could practically see all around'em lol. He could camp in a corner and tell if an enemy was coming from 3 different corners. So yeah, having a wider field of view would be a definite help in cs:s as well.

As a matter of fact, some people already use the widescreen option even though they don't have a widescreen monitor. It cramps the screen a bit, but the effect is still the same.

i did notice the wider view, now i gotta make my mouse alittle more sensitive so i can turn more faster... hehehe
