Squad join requests

I noticed that in our retail servers (unranked and ranked) that the squad leader of a locked squad doesn't get the requests to join his squad any more. He used to get a little message to allow/deny the request to join his locked squad in the demo server.

Those of you guys who've played on multiple ranked and unranked server, have you noticed that this feature is not working?

I'm trying to determine if it's a server setting or if it's just not there at all.

ARe you saying that you can't request to join on other servers as well? I'm trying to figure out if it's a server code bug or if it's a setting that we don't have set that's causing this problem.

i use TS to request an invite and i don't play on other servers so i guess i should not even post this.

I've ran squads on several servers and lock them at times if I know i need to save room for someone coming on soon.

I haven't seen any requests to join my squad, I didn't play the demo much so i've never actually seen anyone request to join my squad (outside of TS or in game Tells).

Sounds like a game bug.

I saw the same thing WIHadmin. I experimented on other servers also about 3 days ago. It didnt work there either.

it worked other day when i wanted to join knotts sqd...i click it and it said that a invite request hasd been sent to sqd leader

I have never been accepted after requesting a spot in a locked squad. This could be because they don't want me in it, but also because of this bug. I've never been a squad leader, so I can't give any evidence from that point of view.

But I think the squad leader never gets the notice.

I don't see the notice when I send it...I don't know :dunno: worked fine in the demo

Ive noticed it works, i wasnt even a leader. It said (insert name here) wants to join squad request sent to leader.

But what I'm talking about is the message that said something like "XYZ wants to join your squad. Approve/Deny"

Yea, I never see the request until it times out. And it doesn't tell me who was requesting to join.

as a squad leader all you keep seeing is "invite request timed out"

you never get the option to invite someone one if they ask.

But hay take they hint they don't want you! :D

Doesnt work... tried on another server last night, and asked a couple guys to request an invite...so I havent seen it since the beta as well.

Ok. Good. Sounds stupid, but I'm glad it's not working anywhere. I thought maybe I'd missed a setting on our server.
