- Origin of your nickname
As I explained in another thread, Gruthar is a minor character from Fallout 2.
- Age
Born 5/19/86. So, that makes me 19.
- Where you are from
I was born in Los Angeles, and lived there for roughly six months. I grew up in La Serena, Chile, though, and lived there for eight years, so I identify that as the place where I'm from. I'm currently living in Tucson, AZ, and have been there since '96.
- What you do for a living IRL
I'm a college student (U of A), studying computer science. I also work part-time as a cashier at a resort gift shop. The latter sucks.
- Which game brought you to WiH
CS:S. It's funny, though, since I had vowed never to play Counter-Strike again since I got fed up with players' attitudes in the original mod.
- What games are you playing
Just about everything I can get my hands on. Flight sims will always have a spot on my hard drive. More specifically, I've been playing MOHAAS, CS:S, BF2, San Andreas... just bought Children of the Nile, and I'm borrowing Burnout 3 from a friend.
- Other interesting info about yourself
I noticed there are a few airsoft people here, so I should mention I do also. My weapon of choice is a Sun Project M40A1 spring rifle. Definitely sucks at close quarters, definitely has more range than AEGs. I also have a small arsenal of (real) 7.62x54R rifles. So when weather permits and I can get enough people, I go out target shooting. And since I'm sure there are a few gun nuts here, the rifles I have are two M91/30s, one M44, and my precious Romak 3. Its scope is marked in Romanian! And yes, I have bump-fired the Romak. And my final hobby: cars! Or car. I screw around on my 87 Grand National. Mostly stock, haven't run it at the track. If I had to guess, I'd say it'll run low 14s or high 13s on the 1/4 mile, at least in this heat. Cheese is good. I have strange sleeping habits, which is why I'm one the last few idiots on at night. The End.
