is anyone having a worse problem with the server list since installing the patch ?

sofar, after patch it has allready hard locked and CTD'd bolth times i tried to get a server list.

See, I look at that as EA's version of fixing the unresponsive server browser. It just crashes the whole game/computer now. GogoSuperEApatchingpowerw00t!

I used to hard lock every 3rd or 4th time using a filter.. now I don't.. but it takes 2x as long to apply a filter... grr

Ahh I see the problem, it's in small type at the bottom of the read me:

"This patch not verified to work for Canadians"

Are you using the no-DVD/CD method to play your BF2 game? If you are, it might be the reason.

using the mini-image through daemon(ncd cracks are lame)

haven't had it crash since i restarted, but the server browser is still tweaked.

(and on a side note, for some reason can't get bf1942 servers anymore)

Yeah they lied about the fixing the server browser takes about 40 seconds to refresh sometimes....

At least I can play for more than an hour....

Speaking of the patch, when will the ranked server be updated?

BTW: I got on the unranked server and apparently the patch helped, maybe because there were only 5 or 6 guys on. But with that many, it was running perfectly.

I use the No-Cd patch and I can't play. If someone finds a No-cd patch for BF2 1.01 let me know.

I HATE putting in a CD to play a game so I never do, that and the fact I have to uninstall Ultra ISO to play BF2 with a CD.

I was having a problem with it locking up when it first refreshed.

I didn't last night, but that might be cause there wasn't that many servers yet to go through.
