War is Hell Unranked updated

We've updated our War is Hell #1 (unranked) to the latest v1.01 server files. Since the patch will come out at 12PM PST on 7/6, but our ranked server won't be updated until between 7/6 9PM-4AM CDT, we would like to ask a favor of all of you guys to please come over to the War is Hell #1 (unranked) server to help us see if the crashing bug is still there or if it's been fixed.

Can you guys spare some time from your ranked-server gaming to come help us with this?

If we update now can we play on the ranked server afterwards or will it not be backwards compatible.

I was told once you apply the patch, you can't play on v1.0 servers.

Just played a couple hours on the unranked server and had no problems whatsoever. Of course at the most only 10 people were on, so I'm not sure if that would affect anything.
