Lol i had minimized the game when in spectator mode while it was loading the map to look at the forums then i joined CT then i minimized to save the pic and when I opened it again to take another screenie it was back to normal.

Heh... whoa.

You can minize your screen?? How?? Oh, wait... you prolly have it set up so it's just in a window and not full screen?

Nah I just alt + ctrl + delete. Then its in the my little task bar at the bottom of my screen and when I click it it pops back up.

Noo, you got the three-finger salute out of order! It's Ctrl + Alt + Delete! :D Anyway, Alt + Tab is easier to minimize stuff. And yes, minimizing while loading does screw with textures. I should've taken screenshots of when I did that with BF2. Explaining it sounds like you're on LSD... whoa, man, the sun is a tree... and there's grass moving in front of my face whenever I move... whoa

yea that happens a lot if u alt tab....ive run the ummmm wats it called the stress test thing to get fps watever anyhow after i alt tabbed and it looked so weird, but yea the reflection map just turns purple anywhere, hope you arent on a map with water or its like friggin purple haze

Yeah that happens sometimes when I window out.. I just restart CS:S.

black and pink blocks = texture cannot be found or is not loaded.

From my experience, strange textures like that only come about when you minimize the game while the server is loading a new map. I get pure black textures most of the time myself though.

I just use my windows key to minimize x.X; Though in BF2 I have to use alt+tab.
