I have a dell xps 400 and Im upgrading my power supply. I was able to remove everything expect two white clear plastic holders that holds the cables. They look like hooks. Any ideas on how Im suppose to remove this shit. I surfed the internet and found nothing on how to remove them. Dell said for 39.00 we can help you because your out of warranty. In my mind I was like FU#K YOU. Nothing is broken. Just need some info on how to remove them(to put in my new power supply).
Help!!!!

some of them you can "push to the side and they will spring open, others use some needle nose and grip them tighter and pull up, if they are skinny and have balls on the end untwist them ( usually anitclockwise, or do as suggested, and rip them out or prefereably use a pair of side cutters and hack em off...

Yeah I finally got a small mirror to look at it close to see how to detach it. I use a small clothes pin to detach and pull up. This was great but since my tower is a FREAKING BTX case. Its not even worth me upgrading this dell computer. The majority is peripheral.:wallbash::upyours::upyours::upyours: Not standard. Im now in the process on building my own computer.

I think you mean proprietary, not peripheral :)....but yeah....trying to upgrade a prebuilt computer never is a great idea :(

Yet another reason why Dell sucks.. Their use of the proprietary components which makes repairing one a pain. Sorry Neuspeed.
