Our ranked server will be rebooted daily at 9AM CDT. EA apparently acknowledged that there is a memory leak and has recommended all BF2 servers to be rebooted on a daily basis. In addition, EA is releasing a patch for ranked servers today. So we will be applying the patch to our server as well. Don't ask me why EA is releasing a patch and then saying that there is a memory lead and recommends daily reboots... :dunno:

So please be aware that our BF2 ranked server will be rebooted at said time until further notice.

Correct me if I am wrong but hasn't EVERY BF server since 42 released with a memory leak? Jesus, you'd think they'd have that figured out by now.

Jesus, you'd think they'd have that figured out by now.I'd be willing to say that most first release windows applications have memory leaks. They probably had to make last minute changes and didn't test it good enough. Probably something that EA Marketing made them do.
