TK' ing & Spawn Camping

I just wanted to let you all know when I TK you, it is completely accidental. For some reason I don't always see your tag if your friendly. Since I have an ATI X800 pcie vid card I play on med settings to get a decent frame rate, so even if I see you it takes a second to ID the uniform so I am not always able to tell that way either, although many times I have not shot and died trying to tell the difference.

Also, I am not totally use to the map spawn points (On Other Maps Used On WiH Servers)yet. All I played the first few days I had this game was shipment(And it is impossible to not Camp On) (on another server to gain points). The other day I pissed someone off (On WiH Server) (On Crossfire Not Shipment) they thought I was (intentionally) spawn camping, (On The WiH Server) I really didn't know it was a spawn point, (As I Said Before I Have Not Played Most Maps Long Enough To Know The Spawn Points) I was way off shooting with a RPD. As soon as I knew it was I stopped.

I just didn't want you to think I was using lame tactics, I actually just suck!

Oh please put a sock in it ;) Shipment is soo small its almost impossible to spawn camp. You turn a corner and find them now popping up. I always run around in shipment for two reasons ...

a. kill cam/spectator cam shows where i am for a few seconds
b. I keep moving so no one has the jump on me from behind ... also campers are easy targets so i dont want to be an easy target especially on shipment.

All of my TKs are unintentional. Especially when I tk IB. :bolt: Thankfully everyone's been good natured about it, no matter how annoyed they may have been.

Other than the badly/blindly thrown grenades, swervy RPGs, and accidental shootings near teamates... I differentiate the teams by uniform color rather than tags, so sometimes when someone is in a dark spot I mistake them for an enemy and shoot them. I rarely ever go by ID tags anymore, since they tend to not show up from behind cover or through railings/fences.
Then there's the instances of jumpiness and quick to shoot anything that moves reactions every so often.:smack:

I never intentionally spawn camp. The times I have been accused of it, I didn't realize that it was a spawn I was hammering. Then I move on.

Dude, you can't blame it on the graphics settings for you to ID the uniform...

I play with an nVidia 6800 GT, that's barely above the minimum card to play CoD4 with.

Regardless of what setup you have, there are occasions when the tags do not show up for a split second. That split second is definitely enough time for you to shoot a friendly in the noggin.

Spawn camping probably applies to me on domination maps.
When my team has only one point and we can't take a second,
I will try and flank behind the enemy and frag the crap out of
them so my team can advance.

TKing, hmmmm FF in on so it will happen. Some of the times I have
been tked or tked have been the funniest/funnest part of the game.

Last night I was hunting this guy and BAMM I knifed him.
Turned out someone else was after the same guy and had already
got him so my knife landed in my teammate with no enemies in sight.

On this subject I must say that I never take a TK from a reg as they did it on purpose. I would never believe any of you would do that on purpose as I would never do it to you on purpose.

Spawn camping is pretty much encouraged by Dom maps which is why a few of us don't really care for them. I know it happens and I'm as guilty as anyone but it's not usually intentional and if someone brings it to my attention I move so I don't do it twice (I know where they are but when playing it doesn't register for some reason). Try to be fair but it will happen, it's just the nature of the game.

I just get paranoid sometimes and shoot the first thing that walks around a corner... orrrr... I'll be on OpFor shotting at Marines one round, and then the next round I'll be on USMC and still trying to shoot Marines.

Usually only takes one for me to get the picture.

It was one of those perfect airstrikes, direct down the center of the boat, stern to bow. Or was it bow to stern? In any case, it was a whammy of epic proportions. :D

I remember my first knife kill was a tk. I didn't see the name pop up, so I figured it was an enemy. Stun grenaded him, then ran up and stabbed him. I still feel dumb for that one.

What made it so beautiful was who the air strike took out. Not an opposing player was touched, just Anti's whole team. With enemies like him, no wonder we rock.
