Nlinc just bought one similar to that - his is a 9mm Keltec. They're good pistols, but because that one is so small and light it's going to kick a little bit when you fire it.

Not a bad little gun but if you like Kel-Tec but I don't know of anyone who makes a .380 Auto round for snakes.
CCI makes a pretty good round to take care of snakes and varmit at close range but wouldn't waste it on a game bird.

i have never had any expirience with shooting snakes but im thinking something with a bigger clip capacity would do the job,but overall its a good weapon

Don't shoot snakes or at least eat it...and make moonshine infused with it's motherfucking venom so you get the strength of the serpent! oh yeah, and a wallet or belt from it's skin!

I have an occassional cottonmouth problem at the house, but I'm not a rabid snake hunter bent on slaughtering every snake on the place. I estimate there were at least twelve in the pond last night so I need to do some weeding.

A shottie would be best but I can't fit one in my tackle box.

Bob, just go buy a medium or full-size revolver and a few boxes of Snake Shot (NOT to be used for self defense...). Like shooting .22s, even the large calibers.
