Well looks like he was talking to a rather large game developer hoping to get the movie rights to one of their games. They turned him down with the following quote.

Hah, yeah...saw this yesterday. I think at this point Blizz could get whoever they wanted to direct. I hope it's someone good.

For the longest time I've wanted Blizzard's CG cutscene department (our outside company that does them) to make a full-fledged movie with the same unbelievable graphics and animation.
Same goes to the people who make the cutscenes/trailers/intros for the Warhammer games from THQ

Screw live action garbage, I want to see a feature length CG film with the craziest most intense shit evar! (see: the opposite of the Final Fantasy movie. Although that other FF movie, FF7 or something was packed full of intensity, it was so cluttered and sporadic that it, no joke, gave me a mild seizure)

I agree with Filthy. Take what you see in the intro movies for Blizzard games and make it a full featured film with good voice acting and that style of animation. Screw Live Action, World of Warcraft was meant to be animated IMO.
