Neverwinter Nights

Anyone play this? Kitty and I have played this in the past online and were wondering if there would be any interest in having a little pow wow to complete a little campaign. Could be an interesting change of pace for an evening. We were going to try and find a rather short 4-5hr campaign if possible.

Any interest in this?

it's like, everyone else is playing the expansion packs? or modules is what they call it

I played it at a friends house a few years ago. It was no Baldurs Gate 2 but it was fun. I would have to find a copy but I think that would be fun.

I actually do still have it and its expansion. I had it on my computer about a year ago but my computer fucked up so I no longer have it on my computer. I have never tried it online before, had some lan games a couple years ago but that was it.

I think those are the the Icewind Dale D&D games.

I do have some experience running a server in Neverwinter. Pretty sure it should be all good to go on my old PC. The thing is finding the right module for us to play in. Having some trouble finding a good one that doesnt require the 2 NWN expansions. If anyone finds a good one, please post it. Also there is a small chance Kitty can wrangle us a DM. No idea how any of that works or what it means for us.

Time to get NWN installed on the new PC. Right after I figure out where my CD Key went..

Well I have the expansions... I just can't play the first expansion online because those jerks at Atari sold me a game without a CD key and refused to replace it.

Well I tried to install it on the new PC and ran into a few unique issues. 1.) I couldnt get the GameSpy thing to list any multiplayer servers. 2.) It borked something with my soundcard. The mic on my headset was stuck on open. It was only sending the sound back into my own headset though so it was repeating everything I said with a 1-2sec delay. I'll have to work on that a bit more.

still havent found the right module anyway though..
