Last Stand question

So i've been trying to use Last Stand, what I don't get is that when you guys kill me with your Last Stand, it seems (to me) that as soon as I drop you, you're instantly pointed at me with your pistol. But when I get shot, I'm still pointing in the direction that I'm moving and have to acquire the target to shoot.

What gives?

Practice. I remember when I used it (since dumped it for dead silence) it was pretty much a reaction, get shot, turn towards where I got shot from. Much like reflex aiming, it takes practice.

In last stand if you get a shot off on the guy before you go into last stand, you will be in the correct position (lined up) to shoot him again and take him down. If for some reason you weren't able to hit him before he drops you down into last stand you will be stuck trying to find him/aim at him and shot him. Usually this ends in your death not his, but not always.. Keep trying!

No... it's the way last stand is set up.
If I hit someone then go into LS, I'll be lined up already to fire again. If I haven't shot them yet, I have to search.

I generally keep firing at someone until I see they're dead. There are a few players who kept killing me with Last Stand, and those players in particular when I can see their names, I shoot them even after they go down.
Kitty kills me a lot with Last Stand. :( :lol:

I prefer other perks, since I never manage to line up a shot. The best thing is when you go into last stand, when someone is close, you can still knife! :D

Dunno what to say. :dunno: Sometimes the guy is close enough that I'll just fire off as quickly as I can hoping to get him. Sometimes I'll be patient and take aim at the distant sniper. Sometimes I'll just sit tight, be quiet, and keep the sights on the edge of a corner waiting some someone to pop his head out. Other times I get shot by a friendly and spin around blasting him back without thinking. :mgboxedin: Happy to say I dont do that often though.

I'll rarely try to use the sights if the guy is close to medium range. No point in wasting the time, I feel it's more important to get lead downrange as fast as possible.

I've been trying to remember to reload if I do hit the closer bad guy in the hope that I'll be ready for any of their buddies that come around the corner.

Also there's nothing quite like double-tap or sleight-of-hand combined with Last Stand. Double your possible rate of fire, or reduce time in reloading so you can put more lead downrange. :)

in my experience, as soon as you realize you are in last stand *CLICK*CLICK*CLICK* that mouse button. :)

They have killed you, but are usually standing dumbfounded right in the line of fire :woot:
