Who is =HR=?
We are the Hardcore Recondo clan. We are an online gaming group that plays games such as Call of Duty 4, Battlefield 2, Eve of Destruction, Counter-Strike, and its various mods.
Our name is a dedication and a tribute to the brave men of the real Hardcore Recondo of the 4th Battalion/39th Infantry. The real Hardcore was created during the Vietnam War by Lt. Colonel David Hackworth. Under his command, they fought fierce battles against a formidable enemy. Their motto is "AAA-O" which stands for "anything, anywhere, anytime, bar nothing."
Our clan was founded in early 2004, out of the need of casual gamers, scattered throughout the world, that share the same principles of online gaming. We play with honor and integrity. We like to work together as a team during a game, using teamspeak to co-ordinate movements, to achieve the gaming objectives. We do NOT spawn-camp, team-kill, damage team-vehicles, or verbally abuse other players. Some of our members are admins for the War is Hell Gaming servers.
We are different than most other clans in that we do NOT participate in tournaments or hold practices. We don't care for the 'l33t attitudez nor the fame of having mad skillz. We don't care that you R0x0rZ with your L33t bunny-hopping SkillZ. What we do care about is having fun playing a game online together with a few good gamers.
How do I enlist?
Membership into =HR= is by invite only.
As =HR= members play, we also watch and evaluate how others play. Do they follow orders? Do they play to win as a team or as an individual? Are they having fun? Do they abuse others unnecessarily? Are they behaving in an adult manner? These are some of the things we look for.
Beyond these intangibles, we require that a candidate must:
1. Have TeamSpeak software.
2. Follow our Codes of Conduct.
3. Play the games we play.
4. At least 18 years old.
5. Have no current clan affiliation.
Every 3 months or so, the =HR= team nonimates a few candidates. The ideal candidate uses teamspeak effectively, play multiple mods, and get along with the =HR= guys, and is a team-player. We don't care if the candidate suck or is an uber-warrior. We don't care if you ranked #1 or last in the world. We discretely evaluate each nominated candidate and send out invitations to the top 1 or 2.

What is your Code of Conduct?
1. Play with honor & integrity. Absolutely no cheats/hacks!
2. Never team-kill or damage team vehicles.
3. No spawn-camping an uncap'able spawn.
4. Verbal abuse of others is forbidden. A little bit of trash-talking is fun to do during a game but excessive trash-talking is frowned upon.
5. Commo with your teammates in Team-Speak.
6. No whining allowed.
7. Help the FNGs during their first couple of games.
8. Stay alert. Stay alive.
9. Never talk bad about the Hardcore Recondo publicly. If you have an issue or don't agree with a decision, take it up in our private forum.
10.Respect all players.
11.Wear the clantag =HR= with pride in forums and games.
12.Must play along clan mates at least once per week, if not more often. Members going AWOL for more than 1 month will be automatically removed from the clan.
We hope that this gives you an insight into our little online gaming clan. We are always watching and evaluating possible additions to =HR=.
