what do you guys think? do you like this ending better then one in movie?

I thought in movie was better one. every zombie dies in movie..:deadhorse2:

both endings seem incomplete to me

I enjoyed the alternate ending much better than the theatrical release version. I hated that they showed the infected as having little to no comprehension of higher thinking and were just monsters. This one made much more sense to me.

It's better than the theatrical version, but still far inferior to the book. I like that they finally convey the human side to the vampires, instead of portraying them as emotionless monsters (which was a key element in the book, and was criminally omitted from the film).

it was like they began to introduce that concept when he was catching the girl, but then just forgot about it. I was really disappointed.

now it works!! but i like the real end more!! i like when the good ones die at the end!!

The only thing that would have killed this ending to me was the fact that the bridges were blown in the movie. I mean I guess there are tunnels in NYC, but aren't they all under water by this point?

Otherwise, this was a damn fine ending.

eh, still seems incomplete. They bought out the "human" element in the infected, but still raises the question of how the hell are the survivors going to cure the entire population if the infected remain hostile??

and arent all the bridges destroyed when they try and quarantine the island??

good point that is another thing i like when hero dies at the end kill all bad guys

in the movie it was made that way because they followed the book version of it so that is why they did that part...
