Get the Battlefield 2 Keyset for Zboard System for free if you don't mind waiting for a rebate. THIS IS THE BF2 OVERLAY FOR THE ZBOARD SYSTEM. IT'S NOT A KEYBOARD.

Here is what the BF2 overlay looks like (you might recognize it from the insert in your BF2 game case): http://www.Zboard.com/US/Battlefield2/

Go to this link at CompUSA for the BF2 Zboard overlay: http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=328793&pfp=SEARCH

Find a store in your area that you can buy it from . There is a store seach by zip code on the right. Use that to find a store in your area that has it in stock. Go buy it for $19.99 and make sure you keep the receipt and UPC code from the box.

Now go here for the $20 rebate form: http://www.zboard.com/US/Battlefield2/rebateforms/Rebate24291COMPUSA.pdf

Follow the instructions to the letter. THIS OFFER IS GOOD TILL 7/21/05.

I don't think the keyboard is free. The overlay $20 might be free but the base keyboard is not.

I could be wrong though.

Does anybody have one of these Zboards? If so, how do you like it?

One of my co-workers has it and enjoys it though it takes some getting used to. Me, personally, I'd rather use a N-52, but then I've been using it for a few years now and am more partial to it.

*agreed* But I know someone who uses it, and loves it, I thought about it, but I just cant give up the comfort of my N52...

And you can actually find them cheaper than that.

Yeah, I thought about getting one of those awhile back. Now that you guys say it's good, I'll probably get one.

Someone said it is only for right handers. Is this true? If anythin, it looks like it's for the left hand to me. Edit: I just read that it is for left or right.

I only have one problem with it. I have my enter/exit key set to the far right button on the second row (right above the bright orange button), I have the bright orange button set as my PTT button for TS. For some ungodly reason about half the time I go to hit my PTT button to talk to everyone I instead use my index finger and hit the eject button. Making it difficult while in a chopper and trying to give targets.

i bought this combo last week and i like it so far. it is nice to have a custom keyset that can be removed and replaced with a standard keyboard as needed, the keys are easy to reach and it comes with a generic gaming keyboard for $49.99, i have used my N52 speedpad for awhile and i miss some of the comfort it provides but the game specific keys for BF2 make up for it IMO. in fact i am better at flying a helo with this keyboard(i still suck but not as bad) than with a X45 Saitek joystick/throttle i returned when i bought this board. those of you that fly with the keyboard would probably really like this board. all of the buttons for everything are labeled the only difficulty so far is that when trying to type it is more complicated by the non standard positioning of the keys but how much in game typing does any of us really do?
