I dunno what kind of music ya'll like, but I just recently was able to get the new eminem CD encore, I liked it. Altho the song where he bashes what I did in the war displeased me but thats his style I guess. Anyway, I listen to mostly Metal type stuf mostly;

Slipknot
Mushroomhead
Static X
Spineshank
Hatebreed

Yeah, u know that stuff yer mom would call devil music, but its really all a plea for attention haha. I love it tho, anything that hits a nerve as hard as it can is my cup of tea.

I have a question and a statement now however, what were Slipknot fans thoughts on the newest CD? I know its been out for awhile (slap me if you want but I havnt heard anything about it other than a good grade finnally from entertainment weekly which no one really cares about really anyway). I thought it was an awesome CD, and is showing how the band is evolving into the great band I believe them to be. I know not everyone likes them so if you wanna bash them either be an adult about it or keep it to yerself cuz I dont care for the childish crap (my dogs better than yer dog cuz he gets kennel-ration BLEH!)

Also feel free to share your favorite newer CDs released (even if it has been out awhile who cares) Or just bring up thought and ideas about where music seems to be going in general whatever. Im bored and have nothing better to do right now so, I thought I'd bring up music, cuz next to Games, and movie its something I love.

So... uh... any thoughts

I listen to anything from Sinatra - old 70's groove - 70's classic rock - anything 80s - 90's alternative and ska - today's music. Cross genre, except for country :yuck:

Needless to say, XM Radio is my bestest friend :)

My all time number one favorite band is:

Queen. -- way ahead of their time as far as music is concerned.

As for new music, last CD I picked up was by Keane (http://www.keanemusic.com/) and I'm thinking about getting the latest cd from Muse (http://www.muse.mu/).

Yeah, dont get me wrong I like almost all music (except things like Pop Crap aka Britney Spears and bands/singers like her, Rap Crap aka Anything tellin me about how much money and hoes you got bleh it sux, Country [Stop Inbreeding Ban Country Music]). I just tend to listen to the metal stuff alot.

I find it interesting how most newer bands are goin the cross genre route like Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and Slipknot to name a few. I like the mix and I hope it evolves more, altho I dont know enuff about music o be sure it can or not but we'll see the future is always full of surprises.

I agree with Tupac, and I assume you mean old Jay-Z (altho I havnt heard his stuff since Blueprint or whatever it was called so I dunno but he seemed to be goin downhill at that point, however hardknock life is undeniably his best IMO) 3 Doors Down is very cool, however I didnt like the 2nd CD (dont know if they released a new one yet) but thats me. Jimmy Eat world and Green Day are both Great, Greenday is one of my many favorite bands.

As for the classics I love em all so I havnt much to say about those they seem to always withstand the test of time and cant be stopped.

Anyway, anyone notice Motley Crue is tryin to come back. I dont know if anyones a fan, but I'm not. They were always about the money (and I think it was probably Tommy Lee's Coaxing now that he's in the spot light). If they make new music I'm sure they'll do what Tommy Lee did with Methods of Mayhem and mix in their music with famous Rappers and Modern Day Rockers to get ppl to buy it, except of course fans who would buy anyway, but thats neither here nor there.

Anyway yeah Im just bored so take it or leave it
