umm.... i have all the basic ribbons for all the classes, and 2-3 combat medals, 2 silver medals, and a combat ribbon of some sort..

I have Gold, silver bronze x 4 each, basic engineer, assault, support, and armor.


And 1 combat action ribbon. Honestly, I think ribbons are where the real awards are. I was in a sustained firefight for at leat 3 minutes, I was constantly backing my tank in and out of combat, alot of deaths on the other sie, a lot of repairs on mine....torwads the end of the fight a Combat Action Ribbon popped up. I was surprised. I dont know what the requirements are for it. Ill just take it as, you kicked serious ass, heres your ribbon.

And I agree with Jeff. I was definately kickin some asss at the time.

As far as I can tell, in terms of merit they go Medals > Ribbons > Badges.

The only badges that are better than ribbons are the Expert badges, I don't even think anyone has a veteran badge.

Except BF2 will never pay, (and I have never seen a BF professional team, at least nothing like the CS pros) this isn't like CS 1.6 where you can make big money in tournies. Hardly anyone even runs tournies with the BF franchise, and I have never seen one that pays out (I mean hell even CAL who pays out in the CS leagues won't payout on the BF league). Can you imagine trying to payout $5000 or so dollars to ~16-32 people?

Now I'll change that opinion if I ever see it actually running at CPL. But no I wouldn't say you could make money at BF. Besides I've never seen a good professional team last more than one season, even in the CS leagues, look at 3D and all the other big names. They score high or finish out CPL as the champions and sure enough, two weeks later they're all dissolved.

And I doubt hell be contacted, I was in the what... top 20 players world wide in BF:42 and BF:V within a week of BF:V coming out for 2 months (Trahn and Crotch would remember better) and no one thought a thing about it. It's just rank, and easily paddable (no I didn't say Kossori padded, I said it's easily paddable so most are going to take the ranks with a grain of salt).

Nah I don't dislike you at all Koss. Like I said it's not saying anything bad against you, just the way I am period. unless someone is tremendously better than anyone else I never sing praise about anyone cause it's just what's expected, and I'm the same way about myself. Kinda like in WoW where everyone goes "Dude we want you to tank cause you're the only decent tank we know", doesn't make me happy or proud, just makes me think there is alot of friggin idiots out there who don't know how to do the most basic things :). Course I tend to be a bit jaded with gaming in general due to all the idiots I know.
