Although I would like this thread to be stickied I have no say in it. Were not a ranked server here because none of us have won the lottery. But we are the best community around and I believe that sometimes some players should be recognized. The guys Im talking about are the outstanding acheivers, they DONT always show up on the scoreboard but there doing the job none the less. Just use this thread to recognize and try to give a little story about why you were so impressed by their play.
I'll start. My nomination for outstanding player this week ( in my opinion) is:
TI-Demoneyes
He takes on one of the least profile jobs in the game. The .50 cal tank gunner. He's also damn good at it. Maybe its by luck that Demoneyes and I have hooked up so much in the past couple days but there is some kind of weird bond that has formed now between us. If he is on my team its just an instaneous thing that he is now on top of my tank. I really rely on Demoneyes to watch my six while we are capping flags, and that defining moment came yesterday. We were capping the warehouse (power plant) after a bloody fight to get in there in teh first place and it was just spawn after spawn after spawn. As an engineer, Demon jumped from fixing the tank, to manning the 50, to fixing the tank, to manning the 50---------in all that 5 minutes, he knocked out 12 guys on his own and repaired our tank to full health twice. It doesnt matter how crappy you drive either, he hits moving targets while you move. You'll here the "lock". And then the tone will die because Demon has killed him. Your a true .50 cal hero Demon and I hope to tank with you even more in the next few months.
Anyways, if you want to nominate someone, thats kind of how this thread should go Im hoping. ( aka a specific or overall example of said player)
