if you hold the button down you off yourself instead of waiting to bleed out. It helps when a sniper gets you and there are no enemies around you to shoot at.

I have to disagree. "To each, his own," I guess. But yes, that is what that message was, however, I find it strange because you were killed by a helicopter and it looks as if you character is still standing.

You know.. I have to agree.
Is it cheap? Sure.
Is it lame? Hell yes.
But some of us aren't as good as the big boys.. some of us hate the way they gloat- either by staying completely silent, or rubbing every kill in our faces..
This is our revenge.
Kill me, but I DARE YOU to teabag me.

Dare huh?
Is that a double dog dare?

Oh I'm soo busted on that one :P
Aye, martyrdom is the bane o' Saur... though he's gotten quite quick at lobbing them back at the enemy as of late.

i like martyrdom, its so funny!! sometimes i like rushing into groups of enemy's
take as much out as i can with my gun and hope i'll get the rest with my nade!! :D
and i am sorry i realy dont care about people which doesn't like it, because it's a part of the game and i know they also dont care about people like me, which don't like the last man stand!!

I play to many FF sevrers for Martyrdom so I don't used it because it is the team killingest perk out there. Last Stand takes skill.

martyrdom, IMHO, takes no skill. Last stand you still have to aim, and is slightly more realistic. And yes, I will whine like a little baby when I get caught by martyrdom :)
Of course, the screenshot did have to show Gumby owning me with the chopper.... over and over and over :)

Neither do claymores, n00b tubes, or RPGs.

But we are comparing martyrdom to last stand.
But since you brought it up :)
I hate claymores, but I am getting better at spotting/taking them out. They are a very real tactic used in RL. (I just wish friendlies would trip them too..... but I digress) And the truly effective users of claymores plant them strategically......bastards. Which takes skill, basic tactics, and knowledge of the map. I can't believe I'm defending claymores.
RPG's.... I have only gotten a spattering of kills with the RPG. I apparently don't have the skill to use it properly. So by default, you at least have to have some skill to know how to use it properly. It is used to get to personnel behind walls, in tanks, or other fortified positions. So if they killed you through a wall with it.....that is kind of the purpose of the weapon. It is not a surgical instrument like a rifle, it is a bludgeon that is meant to crush indiscriminately in a large area.
Grenade Launcher.... yeah ok, we'll agree on that one :woot:

Martyrdom in the fashion it is used in this game is not realistic in any way because grenades don't just drop off dead bodies and detonate.

i knife people who have the last stand perk :hungrysmiley::lol:
but then again, i knife everyone, especially in the team deathmatch, the whole getting behind enemy lines is sweet.

You know people in last stand can knife you back, right? I've gotten a few kills using that. :D Also I must say last stand is better then marty. 1.) You can still cap a point 2.) You can get revenge on a unsuspecting sniper 3.) I've gotten 4 kills while in it. I might fall for marty once. After I know who has it turned on though, I'll run when I see that name pop up. Now I know to avoid Furby's corpse in game.
As for my favorite perk. Stopping power. Me and my Nazi rifle like to put people down fast. :yaya:

Martyrdom. Play on a server with FF on and see how fast you will be kicked for having this perk.
Last Stand. For reason Lordbeer has already said. Much more team friendly and useful.
Stopping Power. I don't see any reason not to take this perk so it makes all the rest in that category rather lame.
Deep Impact is good if I'm know I'm going LMG and laying serious fire down range.
So I guess Perk 1 is the only level I can change frequently and move about to best fit whatever.
