although the ageia card is not required, you will need it to get decent fps
Warmonger - Operation: Downtown Destruction
FileShack has the AGEIA’s Free First Person Shooter PC game called Warmonger - Operation: Downtown Destruction. The file size is approx. 437mb which has 6 levels. AGEIA recommends you use the PhysX accelerator to play the game but it is NOT required and the game will run without one (as long as your PC is up to par). The game publisher & developer is by NetDevil and is powered by the Unreal 3 engine. This game is known for it's destruction system, where every aspect of the environment can be completely destroyed.

ive been playing it on my system for a few days. DEFINATELY NOT PLAYABLE W/O A PHYSX CARD ON MOST PC's. I consider my PC a decent mid-high end PC, and yet this game plays at an average of around 13 fps. Even on all low graphics. On all high, it stays the same, meaning that my graphics card isn't holding me back, it is rather the fact that I dont have a physx card.
Oh yeah, and the graphics aren't that great anyway. Not comparable at all to other Unreal 3 engine games, such as Bioshock, Gears of War, or UT3. The graphics are doom 3 quality imo.
Intel Q6600 temporarily at stock 2.4 ghz
Zalman CNPS 9500 LED cooling
2 GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2 800mhz (looking to add 2 more identical gigs of ram)
EVGA 8800gt 512 mb
Intel DP35DP mobo
Custom CoolerMaster Stacker 832 case
Thermaltake Toughpower 850w Modular PSU
I was expecting my quad core processor to handle the work of the physx card, which it could because of how powerful it is, but apparently the game was programmed to suck w/o a physx card.
