In properties menu, under my GeForce 6800 Ultra tab and in it's respective AGP Settings tab, I have the following information:
Capability
Max AGP rate: gpu 8x, chipset 8x, OS 2x, Optimal 8x.
Across the board, agp version, max request queue, fast writes, and sideband addressing are the same (3.0, 1, yes, yes respectively)
My questions: Why is the OS AGP rate max at 2x? Could that be bottlenecking my system? Possible solutions?
System specs (no oc):
windows xp sp2
1g corsair ram
3.2 intel p4
gfx 6800 ultra
barracuda 80g hd
other info:
runs pretty cool, 50-55 degrees under load (bunch of fans)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
