Quick Question

So I'm trying to clean up my HD some by deleting a bunch of crap that I'm not using or games I'm not playing anymore and I was going through my SteamApps folder and I noticed I have something like 26 gigs of space taken up by these .gcf files, and I have no idea what the hell they do. Can I delete some of these without causing a problem? Or am I stuck with 26 gigs of wasted space?

I wouldn't. Looks like those are the actual game files. :D

if you do delete them, it would just be a matter of re-downloading the game that they were for in steam

I think you can also go into steam and right click games that are currently installed and delete local content... which would mean those files i believe.

Ok, I was just wondering because some of them are like half-life2_korean.gcf. So I guess they stay.
