man, i didnt have my dsl line up this weekend, so with nothing to do i bought Doom 3... man that game is scarry.. I almost crapped my pants the first hour of playing... especially with my surround sound blasting... sheesh, if you like scary movies, this is like 10 times better...

anyone else play D3?

Ah, Doom 3. The game that makes chainsawing babies ok. I used to play it, but I got bored after going through hell the first (maybe only?) time. Here is a bit of warning though, after you get to delta labs, things become a little predictable.

I should probably finish the game one of these days.

Yeah I agree. After Delta Labs it gets really repetitive...

Still a pretty good game, just it lacks in gameplay features.

i know what you mean, after i got to the delta area, i get an idea of where they spawn, but i still get freaked out once in a while... it'll probably get old soon for me..

The game was very over hyped and after about an hour everything started getting repetitive as far as monsters and things popping out of the walls. It has its moments but so do most games. I honestly didn't really like it.

Doom 3, to me, was the worst FPS that I have ever played. Too many elements stolen from other games. I'll stick with System Shock 2.

It never really scared me, but I enjoyed it.
