Keep getting kicked

I don't think I am the only one cause the population on the server was really low after whenever this happens. I keep getting kicked for what it sais is corrupted packet flow.

You need to update your punkbuster manually. There's two setup's that need to be done(go to the PB site) Then after doing so, you need to allow PB access on your firewall.

I have the latest version. I updated once I got it the second time. But its still does it. But you mentioned a second setup, what is that?

I believe he was just making sure that your pb has access through your firewall. In most cases this would be windows firewall, in which case it probably does have access. You should find a windows firewall icon in your control panel and should be able to check that pb is allowed access. If you are using a different firewall the same applies.

Another problem you could be having is issues with the router. This page can give you more info on that:

I put my computer on DMZ on the router and I didn't get kicked. Thanks.

oops, might not be the best thing to do. Have you ever done port forwarding before? I think it might be safer for you to try that first unless you have some serious protection on your pc.

Well it worked for 2 round. On the 3rd round I got kicked. Everyone in GOD TS also got kicked except for Retro. Retro said more than Half the server got kicked.

I have Kaspersky Internet Security.

well it seems a number of members are having trouble with the same issue and I see no answer from evenbalance or ea besides updating pb. To make things worse, the pb online ticket service is offline, so I couldnt even ask them whats up with this.

Yes, punkbuster seems to have been having ALL sorts of issues last night. I know CoD4 went completely loco. It was kicking EVERYONE out of servers. PBsetup was unable to get a link with the servers to make any updates to any games. It does seem to be working now but it was down for a few hours. Hopefully things will be ok for you later on today.

I would take your computer off the DMZ immediately, as in yesterday. Not a safe solution. Being kicked seems to be a problem for many, so sit tight and see what people do.
