i do. i just remembered this for the first time in several years and thought i would post it. if you have a near-death, one-in-a-million, 4-way with the cheerleading team or other story, share it here.
during my first year at OU, i was a marine option in the naval rotc unit. i was on the competition drill team which was it's own platoon within the batallion. all of our m1 garands and officer swords were original, real and live firing...had to be for competition. not only did we compete, but we did parades, special events ...including being the escorts for beauty queens during a pageant at a highschool in OKC.
we practiced alot with the chicks, making sword arches and walking arm in arm with them. of course they were taken with the uniforms and swords of well oiled killing machines:woot: who can resist that shit:dunno:
the week before the pageant they invited us back to an after pageant party, of course we accepted....knowing we were going to score with the hottest group of chicks, things were getting good. :woot:
it turns out they all had boyfriends and they were all the guys on the football team (of course)....and it also turns out they had been watching their chicks practice with us and were piping pissed when they found out we had been invited and accepted.
so, the night before the pageant, after practice, we were walking out to our vehicles. half the football team is waiting for us round the corner of the school, all wearing pads, some with bats. we walked passed them when they walked out and said some shit about kicking our asses.
we all turned around, swords in hand....we looked at the footballers for a second, looked at each other with shit eating, ear to ear grins.....we were 18 &19 year-old snake-eater wannabes with swords being confronted by some jealous kids with way big muscles. all i could think about was how bloody this was getting ready to get and i wanted to lead the charge.
after being presented with swords in their direction....they looked at us for another couple seconds and left, looking pretty dejected i might add. folks, its physically impossible to advance on a phalanx of swords when you have a couple of bats.:fechtduell:
we laaauuughed...and laughed. how close did i come to actually wielding a real military sword in anger....i dont know, but i was young, dumb and full of cum....we were going to enjoy our lunch of linebackers...i still get giddy thinking about the near slaughter.
postscript- we didnt go to the after party, decided not worth going to jail or getting our asses ambushed. beauty queens and killin dreams....
