BF2 Names

I cant play BF2 thanks to their stupid gamespy log in system, gives me some random BS error each time I try to make an account, and its different every time. Also, it says =HR=Mr.Saigon is taken, which I find hard to believe... but whatever.

Saigon - you probably already use the same email address for your Gamespy account. That's why you're seeing this problem. Get a new email address and you'll be good to go.

I've tried 2 different emails, one was used for gamespy. But they said if you use the gamespy email and use the same password then you can make a new name. Not for me I guess. I also used a non-gamespy email and cant make an account either.

Turns out that even though it gave me an error and said =HR=Mr.Saigon was taken, it did create the name for me. I had to retrieve it. Still with bugs like that the account creation sucks.

that is what happened to me and many others in trying to create an account. it didnt respond, it would give that "creating account" sign for hours if you let it. then when you quit and tried to redo it, it sai that the name had been taken...as if. then you had to go to that retrieve option that was way too small for me to notice for a good while.

probably lagged out while you were creating it the first time...

i got the name in use error also and it did not create the account so i created "The Real Monos"
