wasnt sure whether to post about this here or in the pics forum.
http://www.conceptart.org/?
i know i've been to this site prior to today, whether it was from random browsing or from a link from here, but i only browsed some of the users' stuff that's featured at the top of the site. i dug it, but didnt bookmark the site. anyways, i was searching for something on google images today and stumbled upon the site once more, but this time i found myself in a post and realized that there were forums where members posted their work and i must've wasted at least a couple hours browsing through them.

i guess ill give some examples of the work you'll stumble across if you browse the site so as to motivate you to do so. some of it isnt so interesting, but the jewels you do stumble across make up for any tedium involved in looking through stuff that doesnt interest you.
anyways, here's a couple examples i came across while procrastinating today.

That last one reminds me of something out of a Miyazaki film (i.e. Howl's Moving Castle). Nice find, Tykwer.

There...now do you feel like your post wasn't a waste?

after i posted those, i started thinking of posting what i find that catches my fancy, and maybe others could too, that is, if anyone else ends up wasting their time browsing the site.

sorry if these are a bit big, bob. go grab a snack while it loads :hehehe:
enjoy

i guess technically this contains nudity, but you'd be one sick puppy if you got off to it.

i dont personally see a nuke blast in any of the pics (except in kim's hair), but i didnt create these images, i just thought they looked cool. so, it's what ever you want it to be

no, that my freind, is the mont blanc. its a mountain. in france. the biggest mountain in europe, aprox 4800m high.

dunno if theres that big of a city nearby, that seems like fiction. it should be in the alps. so no place for big citys.

btw, nice pics tyk. dont have time to look at the site, but I like those destroyed city pics. its just like the way I draw...but I can never be bothered to give my drawings colour.
